Podgorica Montenegro

Duklja is one of the most outstanding monuments Montenegro has to offer in terms of archaeology and heritage. I # I've written about it a few times, but I haven't really taken the time, so I'll do it again. The coastal town consists of two parts, a mountain national park and a coastal village.

The area near central Montenegro is crossed by several rivers and is mostly flat. Moraca and Ribnica rivers flow through the city, while Zeta, SitNica, Mareza and Cijevna rivers flow nearby. Podgorica is located in the middle of the country and is dominated by the mountains and the coastal town of Duklja and a small coastal village. Unlike the better parts of Montenegro, it is located in a mountainous and uneven region, in which it is largely located, except for the hills that dominate it, one of which is a hill from which it takes its name.

It seems destined for the capital of Montenegro to be located in this region, as various centers have settled here throughout history since the beginning of the Zeta in the 11th century. After two world wars, Podgorica was elected the country's new capital after the end of World War II, but it took 14 years before it assumed the status of "capital" after Montenegro regained its independence in 2006. The city was rebuilt, expanded and largely built up, and it is still being rebuilt today with the help of a large number of new buildings and roads.

Podgorica is the capital of Montenegro, the second largest city in the country and the third largest in Europe after Belgrade.

As the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica is extremely accessible and offers access to many places in the country, with the nearby international airport 12 km from the city centre. Montenegrin coastal towns and mountain towns are within an hour's drive of this city. If you need a shopping experience, it is also one of the best places in Montenegro to be in the capital and the largest city of the country. This is the best place to visit inenegro, surrounded by the biggest attractions. The town borders on the Montenegrin coastal town of Vojvodina, the mountain resort of Zagreb and a number of other towns and villages.

Another option is to take the bus and continue to Podgorica, or you can take a bus to Dubrovnik, Mostar, Zagreb or other parts of Croatia and then continue by bus. If you are travelling to Croatia, you must be in the centre of Zadar or the coastal town of Vojvodina, but if you are travelling from Croatia, you can take a bus to Dubrovsnik or Mostar and then change to Pod Gorica. Pod gorica has a number of restaurants, shops, hotels, restaurants and cafes as well as a variety of shops and restaurants.

On the last day of your tour you will drive to Pod Gorica where you will be picked up at a hotel to explore some of the best Montenegro has to offer for four unforgettable days. You will return from Pod gorica to Zadar or the coastal town of Vojvodina, but you should definitely take a break. Montenegro is one of 27 countries included in the Eurail Global Pass, along with Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.

Podgorica literally means "Gorica" and Crna Gora (Montenegrin mountain) means black mountain. The rugged beauty of the landscape made the name an obvious choice, but Gorica is the place from which the town takes its name.

This wonderful national park covers the entire shore of Lake Skadar in Montenegro, including villages, towns, wetlands, hills and ruins. The town is situated on the edge of one of the most beautiful lowlands and wetlands in the world, the Gorica River.

As mentioned, Podgorica was once one of the greenest cities in former Yugoslavia, but the green that the city has today is largely a legacy of that time. Indeed, according to UNESCO World Heritage, it was the "greenest" city in former Yugoslavia.
